Pocket Planter collects your email address for account creation, and garden data you enter such as saved plants, journal photos, care logs, and garden map layouts.
To work out your growing zone and local forecast, we use your postal code, and — only if you grant permission — your device’s location. You can use the app by entering a postal code alone; granting location access is optional.
With your permission, the app also accesses your photo library and camera to add journal photos, and your calendar to add planting reminders. Face ID is used only to unlock the app on your device and is never sent anywhere.
Your data is used solely to provide the Pocket Planter app experience. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Supabase stores your account and garden data, including journal photos. RevenueCat manages subscriptions. Open-Meteo provides weather forecasts and historical climate data, and OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service converts a postal code into coordinates. Your postal code or coordinates are sent to those services to return local data; no account details or garden contents are shared with them.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase. Journal photos are stored in Supabase Storage. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
